Bold, layered, and utterly one-of-a-kind — Birdbrain is a celebration of colour, texture, and creative freedom. Vibrant gelli-printed papers have been hand-cut and carefully collaged onto a repurposed framed canvas, building a rich, dreamlike composition that draws you in closer with every look.
The canvas and frame were upcycled - the canvas is actually an old window blind, and the collage papers were all salvaged scraps destined for the bin - so nothing new was used to make this art (apart from paint and glue!)
The result is a painting that is not only visually striking but also deeply sustainable — and far more affordable than a traditionally produced work of the same scale.
